Interesting reading but tough as medieval people thought differently then we do. Hi, my fellow bloggers and readers! Unfortunately I have not had time recently to write any blogs. Now before you start crying into your corn flakes I should point out that there are more blogs on the way!!The reason for the drought of blogs is due to the fact that we have recently moved house. The problem is I don't know what is in each box! Luckily the box of blogs has been unpacked, dusted and put on the shelf for future else. Until then, keep checking back for updates. Maze of bare vines trailing across a concrete wall. Photo by I. Peterson. Zooming back, it'll take a key break of support to confirm cycle wave b is over. Unfortunately that is a ways down in price. We are running out of subwaves to count. So we seem to have both the Nikkei and US markets finishing up the last "squiggle" waves.

Pornsaints. This is the gladiolus development so far. I have made one large set of petals and one set slightly smaller. I have designed the buds and the calyx. I just need to make a couple more buds and calyxes and then I can assemble the whole flower. This flower has been quite challenging but I have managed to create each petal and calyx with one "throw". RTS's Pars drone carries a payload of life preservers that can be delivered to a drowning swimmer far faster than a lifeguard.

As we saw in testing in the Caspian Sea, the drone can also work at night, using bright lights, biothermal sensors, and a built-in camera to stream video to rescuers on shore.

The concept works well, and it's an excellent example of how powerful drones—which are cheaper and easier to use than just about any other aerial delivery vehicle—can actually be. From the collections of Yale's Beinecke Library: This volume of Boethius’ Consolations of Philosophy, likely copied in England in the fifteenth century, was re-bound soon after as a “girdle-book,” to be read while hanging from a belt at the waist. The full catalogue description of the book has been summarized at Erik Kwakkel: This example from Yale’s Beinecke library is a rare example of a girdle book that contains its original binding - the knot was slipped under the owner’s belt, where the object would dangle until needed. It is a delightful specimen that looks very attractive in spite of the plain material that was used - undecorated leather. It contains Boethius’ Consolation of Philosophy, written in the sixth century and discussing such topics as free will, virtue, and justice. These may not be the usual topics to have ready at hand while walking the streets of a late-medieval city, but someone found such use important enough to have the text fitted in a crafty binding. What a fabulous house this is! The ceilings are wonderful - the same open style seems to be used throughout. I love the neutral colour scheme and the brilliant chandelier in the living room. I'm away for a few days - back at the end of the week. See you then!Images - David Matheson. Four of them are "returnees. It promises to be a beautiful weekend with no humidity. I am lucking out with the weather this Retreat Season.

My garden is parched and the plants are looking like they can use a drink of water.

Good morning, guys. Guess what? Paolo Lorenzi’s page in the brieflines archive was updated with a new pic. That’s it!. Such was the somewhat alien last few hundred yards to Boisdale in Docklands for last night's Freedom Dinner, a journey which had been tortuous thanks to signal failures and a fire at Waterloo. At one point, I found myself taking three different lines, doing a loop back on myself, just to end up at the station two stops away where I was supposed to be changing for the Jubilee Line.

Still, got there in the end and it was worth it for an evening with like-minded souls who share my view of how the state is increasingly taking the piss.

Arriving just in time for the terrace reception, it was clear that there were some heavy political hitters in attendance which was quite encouraging. Being the type who regularly trots up to the shadow of the House of Clowns for political debates and the like, I was very much looking forward to the speeches, but the food preceding them was exquisite. As a result Now i'm having back pain and strain in my eyes. I have a new appreciation for people who go sing at nursing homes. They had learned a series of songs about African-Americans such as Jesse Owens, Benjamin Banneker, and Ella Fitzgerald. I think the older people enjoyed all those friendly young faces as much as the singing. There was exactly one African-American child in that bunch and I wondered if she felt just a bit conspicuous. Charles Lindbergh, Garrison Keillor, Carl Sandburg, and so on. On Mothers Day a local family performed. Between the mom and the kids they sang and also played a guitar, banjo, violin, and two other instruments I don't remember the names of. The boys were neatly dressed and the girls had long hair and modest dresses, and they reminded me so much of my children, whom I was missing terribly, that I could hardly keep from bubbling over in tears. Happy Sunday everyone! So. It's one of Unity's kit clubs. This is the ONLY one that sends you a new stamp EACH and EVERY week. They are available for purchase in my Etsy shop. After that, they will not be relisted. Can anybody offer them a good home? And for more texture. posted by Phil JohnsonJ. C. He lived in New York with his mother and sister, Cindy. However, Tim’s mother was a femi-nazi lesbian. She hated males and was thus determined to make all males she knew suffer. She even made up her mind to bring up Cindy in an "upright" way so that she could pass down the skill to her future generations of females. To train her daughter, she made Cindy the mistress of Tim. He had to obey his sister in whatever she told him to do. Every morning, Cindy would make Tim prepare breakfast, sweep the floor, wash the clothes. Having reached puberty, mother decided to each daughter more about boys and how to exploit them more easily. " From allrecipes. In fact, I recently discovered a need within my own personal life for a space heater.

A few years ago I need bar stools, but at the moment, I have plenty of those and it happens to be a space heater that is the object of my desire.

Sometimes the space I am occupying is colder than I'd like so a device that would heat that space would be perfect. I looked through their site and what do you know? Yes, they have space heaters, a gazillion of them, so I asked them to send one to me to review. Today was a bit less hectic than yesterday. Machines are all back up and running well again. Much less stress. Find out tomorrow if it is going to be a two or three day weekend. Need to fill the propane tanks again. I want to run a gas line out back for the grill.

Just have to get around to it.
