But hey, a lot has happened since I wrote it. Anyhow, here it is. In a month or two I will be giving my first conference talk. I want to succeed. I want this event to succeed.

Why not? I was talking with a customer at the shop the other day whom I have known for many years.

It was two weeks before the World Mountain Bike Championships. There were several foreign athletes there preparing for the biggest mtb event on the calendar. Hard tails were the order of the day. Otherwise the "working man's rig" usually was a steel hard tail with a rigid fork. So what? Well, keep in mind that the UCI Worlds were there and that downhill was part of that championship weekend. Otherwise known as "DH", the likes of which today is contested on bikes that do not resemble XC rigs at all. This is a Remix I did for my homegirl Kim Davis. I mixed the original record and i really loved the writing so I just couldn't help myself. Kim Davis - Valentine For Life RMX. Today we wish to reflect on and celebrate the life of our dear family friend, Arlis Unrah, who was electrocuted while fixing a hot water heater on Saturday. It is the first time we children have experienced the death of a very close family friend. Our whole family is grieving this loss. Little did we know when we made the last-minute decision last month to stop by their home for a quick visit. that those would be our last moments and memories with "Grandpa" Arlis. You will see Elizabeth in most of these pictures with Arlis. He was her special friend. Elizabeth adopted Arlis as her grandpa several years ago. ". Another day, another Art Fair poster. Seems this is the final cut, though. If anyone's still interested, here is the link to the Go North festival that all this is a part of. Yun and I took my parents and Yun's mom on a trip to France. The first night we were in Paris, it was getting a bit late and we were all very hungry. Someone told Yun about a nice restaurant so we decided to find it. We walked far to get there and the parents were wearing out. The problem was they had no tables left when we got there. We were all disappointed and starving. We walked down a tiny little empty side street and said let's go into the first joint we see. As we crossed the street to enter, I could see a table on the sidewalk right next to the front door. The design team at AMT got their hands on the original blueprints from American LaFrance and have been hard at work trying to get everything just right. Almost one third of the pieces feature a chrome coating, so this rig is sure to be eye catching. Glue colorful beads on a pine cone. Big and symmetrical cone is better. I admit, I almost wish I could join in with the long coats, thick scarves, and cute knit sweaters. The Happy Scrappers met Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and a good time was had by all! I can say that because we sure did laugh a lot! Above, Judi A. shows us her table runner that she made using the One Block Wonder technique. I love how this is turning out and now want to make several as holiday gifts. What is Adrienne doing? Adrienne is showing us the Block Carrier that she made. She said she decided she needed one to carry her blocks back and forth to Bee. She looked around her house and created this one all on her own. This is a wonderful way to save time and get more sewing done. You can do all the cutting for your blocks while at home, place each block between the dividers in the carrier, and just sew your heart away at Bee! Paula worked on her pinwheel blocks. Above she is squaring them up. Paula also worked on this adorable block. Don’t you just love those blue birds! Judi A. Egypt will soon host a first of its kind torture museum, exhibiting various tools used to harm and intimidate people around the world, in a bid to expose history's oppressors. Egyptian reasercher Mohammad Abdul Wahab told Gulf News that he hoped that his museum would deter woul-be oppressors from resorting to torture. To Abdul Wahab, human history is teeming with examples of horrifying oppression inflicted mostly on dissident intellectuals and politicians.

In his view, one of the best ways to deter would-be oppressors is to expose those of the past.

Therefore, Abdul Wahab, who lived for years in the US, has spent almost a decade collecting tools of torture from different eras and countries. Now they are displayed in his gallery at Al Maryutia near the famous Giza Pyramids. At present only members of the media and human rights advocates have been allowed to tour the gallery. The image above was published in Archaeology magazine last year. I found more details at The Telegraph: Among the items most exciting archaeologists are cannonballs believed to be early examples of armour-piercing rounds. But the new findings by experts working with the Mary Rose Trust, which has been preserving the ship, now suggest the technology was being used several centuries earlier — although it could also have been a money-saving strategy, using cheaper iron inside the lead balls. Making it easier for Iranians to travel, get educated in the United States, and get exposed to the rest of the outside world will put those aging mullahs in a very awkward position. Have we learnt nothing from the failed Cuban embargo, which has helped keep the Castro Bros. If your goal is a more moderate Iran, that approach is likely to work a lot better than ostracism, covert action, and repeated threats of military force, which merely galvanize Iranian nationalism and help justify continued repression by hardliners. "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear – - not absence of fear. For thus the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight. Er det mulig, finnes det nså tøfft? Arisaema amurense, jeg satte den i forrige høsten og sommeren som var ga meg denne overraskelsen. Helt enkelt skjønn! Men det er klart, den nesten helt sorte sjokoladeblomsten er ikke langt unna… Flere blomster med X – faktor finner du på Moseplassen. Ranfurly Castle's Charity Fashion Show was a great success and thanks must go to all who took part and everyone who contributed to a real feel good evening. It has so many possibilities. And is SUPER easy. The first time I cooked this I freaked out because I had never eaten spaghetti squash and it is SO cool! It is seriously like spaghetti, only it doesn't leave you feeling heavy and stuffed. From stem top to bottom, and then scoop out the seeds. Coat each half with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and peper.

Hey guys.

I've added four new pics of Teimuraz Gabashvili to the brflines site this morning. Speaking of mornings, I hope all of you are having pleasant ones, or for my friends from Europe, good afternoons. Bye!. I was just thinking that if one were to be having a small bowel x-ray done, and one had been told not to eat or drink after mid-night the evening before, wouldn't one choose a sensible snack like a banana, or yogurt for their after dinner snack craving? I know how one craves salty snacks so how about crackers and peanut butter? ALL of which are stocked in one's kitchen. Apparently the one I'm speaking of had to have a snack while he watched American Idol. He has the laptop out because he reads the USA Today Blog while he watches the show. We are very serious about this show. VERY. SERIOUS. I'm still upset that one of my favorites went home last night. Anyway. Hi there! It's Cindy back on the blog with you today. This is my last post on this blog as an ADFD DT member. It has been a real pleasure to be a part of this crazy-talented group of ladies!! And a big thank you to Tammy for the opportunity to make cards with her amazing images!! We've had some Spring like weather the past few days. So, I couldn't help but use this little cutie to make my first Easter card of the year. You can find more details on my card at In Love with Paper. You can find Easter Friend in the ADFD shop. I'm gonna miss this.

Despite following the weather and club updates online, when I turned up to watch some cricket at lunchtime on Sunday, it had started raining again.

The first thought was that it was a general glitch with the blogspot domain, but it doesn't seem to have affected any other Blogger accounts apart from one guy who rips into the notoriously censorious SNP. It is also isolated only to blogspot. co. uk and not the hundreds of country-specific suffixes that Blogger employs. It is SUCH a BEAUTIFUL THING! On a PERSONAL NOTE. HERE IS NOW. I've been reading about recycling and reusing lately and two of the facts I came across absolutely shocked me. The local Council here has been encouraging residents towards a more responsible attitude about recycling and waste for some time. It's time for all of us to take this seriously. What we're doing is not sustainable. Not only do rubbish dumps emit gasses into the atmosphere, they use a lot of land that probably can't be used again. It’s been such a crazy last few weeks with Thanksgiving and on top of that, we’ve been busy helping out two sons move into new apartments on the weekends! But Yogi and I have been really busy sewing, too. I made four pretty little Christmas wall quilts for my three sisters and my parents.

I had this adorable Mary Engelbreit Santa panel, so I used part of it to make a little wallhanging! I think it’s perfect for the space!! I’ve got the whole house decorated, the lights on the live tree in the living room, but still have to put on the ornaments.

If you remember my Demon Tree from last year, you’ll understand why I’m letting the tree sit with only lights for a few days… if not, read this- So, what are you working on these days? P. S. Yogi is just plum tuckered out from all this sewing and decorating!! . Or, where ever you get your Mountain Bike Action Magazines. It's quick growing popularity has some scratchin' their heads. The probability of success is simply too small and the pain is usually too great. However, if they made up their minds on their own and asked for my help, I'd take a deep breath and do whatever I could to support their efforts.

In the Christmas spirit, I won't start my chatroom and advisory service bashing.

and quite possibly linked to the wrong host. I was hoping something like this wasn't going to happen. But it has. Trump is a monster of epic proportion. I think a pre-impeachment is in order, and possibly a public hanging in Time's Square. The Reality? The MSM has be-clowned itself to the point of having not one ounce of credibility.

Memeorandum is still around? Who knew? There was a time when I actually read Memeorandum and received a fair amount of links over there.

One day it occurred to me that I wasn't Drudge - not even close. I was just a small person trying to make sense of the world. Freewill theism has a generic theodicy: the freewill defense.

The freewill defense denies this key premise.

God is not blameworthy for preempting every preventable evil, because the price of eliminating evil is to eliminate goods that are inseparable from libertarian freedom.

Open theism takes a different tack: God is not to blame because God lacks advance knowledge of evil actions.

That's what is distinctive to an open theist theodicy. BlumarineByblosCedric CharlierDonna KaranErmanno Scervino, via nymag. Mendel. I was going through some of my older stamps yesterday when I saw this one and remembered how much I used to love using it, so I inked it up using a Sepia inkpad and added some Basic Grey papers. I have used a few different stamps on the background card and around the image and lots of Distress Inks. The punches are from EK Success and Leone Em and the pearls were coloured with Copics to match the card colours. While that cooks, you can put the rest of the ingredients in a large pot. When the meat is finished, you can add it to the pot. Bring to a boil and then turn the heat to low. It was a hard run. Several motorcycles didn't make the distance, and arrived on sidecar floats or in the back of the chase vehicles. .
