Once again this year I was at Kingdom Bound. I used my cell phone camera to take the pictures so you can hardly tell what these pictures are of. The first picture is of the stage.
The white screens on each side have a big picture of what is happening so you can actually see it.The second picture is also from the Newsboys. They did an encore performance where their drummer goes up in the air, then is spun in circles, then he tilts to almost vertical, all while he is playing. But the Valley bears another, smiling face for the humble in heart. In this green vale Jesus spent his days, the gentle pilgrim Mercy rejoices to tread, and the poor and lowly gladly dwell. I am content with what I have,Little be it or much:And, Lord, contentment still I crave,Because thou savest such. Fullness to such a burden isThat go on pilgrimage:Here little, and hereafter bliss,Is best from age to age. from John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress Part IIimage is from Flickr.
But it is also a brilliantly insightful and realistic dramatization of a strong female character’s feelings.Permission to copy. If your new items haven't shown up, it's because I haven't had time to do an update yet. I can't keep track of how many motifs each person does. How did you get started in college counseling/admissions? Unlike many people in this profession, I never worked in admissions as a student but it was always a position I was aware of and became interested in as a student. When I graduated I knew I wanted to be in education in some capacity, but not necessarily teaching. Working in Admissions allows me the chance to still get to work with students but not in a classroom setting. It seemed to be the perfect fit! What's your favorite admissions/counseling memory? In such a fun and rewarding profession it is hard to pick just one. From getting to help students make one of their first big decisions, to then getting to see those same students graduating from your institution four years later bring more prepared for life than ever, is one of my favorite memories that I get to relive year after year and makes me so proud! Aside from that, a lot of my fondest memories revolve around the travel opportunities I have been able to take advantage of. One in particular was my first NACAC conference in Denver, CO. I had never been to Colorado before, so that in itself was awesome, but also getting to experience the “big picture” of what we do and having my tiny little bubble of admissions popped has forever enriched me! It is so awesome to be part of this “small world” of admissions and experience it on so many levels. I am wary of writing about health care systems in countries other than the US, since my failure to understand the intricacies of their contexts may lead to errors. On Thursday, Ms Hewitt will issue the first rulebook for NHS managers in an attempt to eliminate the financial deficits threatening to destabilise reform plans for hospitals and primary care services. It sounds like the medical staff will have reason to be enraged. I would say putting money before medicine is a good way to encapsulate the external threats to physicians' core values that certainly are not just an American problem. Paper instructions:essay will analyze, evaluate, critique, synthesize, discuss or make a persuasive argument on a topic inthehumanitieswithin the specific historical time frame of the course. Someone went from a tiny baby to twelve just like that! This grandma wants to keep him little and safe forever. Possibly it has something to do with the year of his birth, perhaps it is because he is the “baby” the youngest of the grands, and maybe it is a little bit of both. I have suggested to his mother that she do something to stop his growth, but she keeps feeding him. His arm is normal again at least that was his last report to me.
I turned his wrist this way and that and pressed here and there to make sure he didn’t have any sore spots or abnormalities that I could see.He is a delightful child who will talk your ear off if it is just me and him one on one. He likes Orville Redenbacher’s Ultimate Butter Popcorn…when ever he is here, he opens the cupboard and says “Oh good you still have my popcorn. My mother-in-law Jenny is a Buddhist. These only occur when the moon is full. We mostly drive around poor neighborhoods and toss lots of quarters out the windows. It's actually really fun. My wife said that before we met, her mom had her do lots of other rituals like sleep with all the lights on in the apartment. The most extreme one was when she told Yun to go to Chinatown and buy a live carp. Then she wanted her to set it free in the Hudson River. Yun told her mom she had gone too far. She just wasn't up to carrying a giant wriggling carp around the streets of Manhattan in the dead of winter. Recently I was on a business trip to Korea. I had a weekend free, so a co-worker suggested we travel to Busan. I talk a lot about my friend Patrick Lango's farm in upstate New York. Not many people have close friends who are dairy farmers. I do. So I thought I would share a few photos I took when I was up there last. I'm not much of a photographer but I try. Yes, that's me in the cowboy hat drawing.
We thought you would enjoy some photos of this show displaying the real-life trucks.Plenty of funny moments and some really endearing characters, these two in particular in my case. As Chinese New Year is around the corner, in Ang Mo Kio Hub, there's a performance by J Team. Since I am celebrating the day, I decided to wear bright bright pink in honor of it FINALLY being Friday. Tim's article HOW TO READ A FRANCO FILM was a seminal influence on my own career as a film journalist in numerous zines and books from that date onward and a key inspiration for this long running Jess Franco blog. This was a publication dedicated to the films I loved and collected. I will post any links if a digital version of the magazine is planned. Bella Blvd is teaming up with Canvas Corp for a week full of inspiration. Canvas Corp will be sharing projects from their designers, featuring Bella Blvd products, over on their blog this week. This is from the latest Restoration Hardware catalog. We were given the opportunity to sing at our local LifeWay store three nights. Let me tell you, the manager of this store and his staff have been wonderful. He opened up the store to a local middle school chorus teacher, who happens to sing with us, and asked her to bring her three chorus groups to serenade his shoppers. It's a safe place. And Monday night I got a little emotional thinking about how these kids were surrounded by the Word of God. Love a June wedding? Would you believe I went to Patchwork Plus and all I bought was some elastic?? I am a strong woman.Julia and I decided to play with fabric scraps and mod podge today. As soon as I saw the little leftover bits of this jelly roll, I knew I wanted to make one of these ticker tape canvases from Crazy Mom Quilts.
There are so many fun art canvas projects on Pinterest, I had already picked up two canvases on sale somewhere.
Julia went diving into all the scrap bins for her favorite bits. And I love the pink heart. I was wearing an orange scarf today that matches my piece. It was good to put down the laptops and cell phones for a while and actually make something. Thanks for the inspiration, Amanda!. Well worth a visit. For instance, back in early August I came home with a cute table with a warped top, and a paper-covered lamp that needed recovering. I'm still trying to unwarp the table. Here is a set of cards for a baby girl. It was time I dusted off that All in the Family set. At last I finished a project, started in March workshop with lovely Beppy Berlin, called "Jacobean with a Difference". Beppy always brings a lot of her own beautiful work to show and inspire us. The concentration! And yes, this was all I went home with! But I did enjoy this type of embroidery very much and I was determined to finish it eventually and not just put it in a draw. Finished "Jacobean with a Difference"It was also the first time I used lovely Pearsall's silk threads, so lovely to stitch with. Gently she touches a cheek and holds an outstretched hand in hers. D.You know that video I talked about the other day? Looks like a lot of it was plagiarism. Tomatochi bhaaji is a dish made by my Aaji on every single visit that I pay her. She thinks I am still a kid who loves it but I do. When I was a child and ate non-veg the food cooked for me was mostly chicken curry with hard boiled egg with other paraphernalia but after I turned vegetarian this bhaaji is a must during my visits. Here is her hit recipe. Add the asofoetida, chillies, onions. Fry till onions turn pink. Then in goes the turmeric and tomatoes. Stamp Something 'Brown' ChallengeThis weeks challenge at Stamp Something is to use brown on your card. I was going through some of my older stamps yesterday when I saw this one and remembered how much I used to love using it, so I inked it up using a Sepia inkpad and added some Basic Grey papers.
