Today's freebie is one that I found while working on my lesson plan for next week, I can't wait to use it with my class. This is a cute Easter themed game from Yay for PreK that encourages children to practice their number recognition skills. It's called Find the Bunny, and the pieces are designed to fit in a pocket chart. You "hide" the bunny behind one of the numbers, and as the children identify the numbers they get to check behind each egg to see if they have found the bunny. When I use this game I'm going to print two sets, so my kiddos have to draw a numbered egg, tell me which number it is, and then find the match. Enjoy this freebie and check out what else Yay for PreK has to offer. I have another great Easter themed freebie for you next Friday!. I cannot wait to show you the whole reveal! Here are a few little snippets to whet your whistle. Reading way too much into everything he says. Could have chosen all sorts of things for "liquid," but why not just start and end with Champagne? THE END OF AN ERROR Basket Case: The dollar continued it's plunge, reaching record lows against the euro, pound, yen and a basket of currencies. There seems to be uncertainly overseas about the long-term prospects of the US economy - another of our exports that's gaining in world markets. The troops are supposed to use Crystal Spring bottled water to wash in and Perrier to drink. They didn't get Elliot's memo about emails. Neither did Elliot, apparently. Luke, on the other hand, tells us that Jesus prayed on his knees. In the Acts of the Apostles, he speaks of the saints praying on their knees: Stephen during his stoning, Peter at the raising of someone who had died, Paul on his way to martyrdom. In this way Luke has sketched a brief history of prayer on one’s knees in the early Church. Christians, in kneeling, enter into Jesus’ prayer on the Mount of Olives. When menaced by the power of evil, as they kneel, they are upright before the world, while as sons and daughters, they kneel before the Father. While, I can't put that pic up on this blog, it is accessible on my site. If not, see you tomorrow!. They cannot defeat me. They will fail and be thoroughly humiliated. Observation: Jeremiah had been prophesying destruction of God's people for a long time and they were tired of hearing it. He was one man prophesying against a whole nation that had gone astray, yet he stood with boldness and declared the word of the Lord. He understood that the Lord was standing beside him like a great warrior. As with the previous two, the third leaders' debate will be covered here with a multi-blog live chat. " One wonders how genuinely "diverse" the coalition was. Not very, one suspects. But all bananas. First stop Tirant and the roadside Bee Eaters near Son Moscard where you’re lucky if someone hasn’t taken the single stopping place in the only gateway to watch the dozens of performing Bee Eaters. Bee Eater A short drive took us to the marsh at Tirant, a place to walk slowly and look thoroughly in early May. From the hill that overlooks distant pools we could see Little and Great White Egrets, a couple of Black Terns, Redshank and Black-winged Stlits. Everywhere along the roadside were Stonechats and Wheatears, and in the grass and marsh beyond, more Nightingales, fizzing Cisticolas and chattering Cettis. StonechatIn the wetter marsh we saw lots of herons, Purple Heron, Squacco Heron, Grey Heron, Little Egret and Cattle Egret. Purple HeronSquacco HeronTwo more highlights were Alpine Swifts and Stone Curlews today. We saw more Egyptian Vultures, Marsh Harriers, Red Kites and Booted Eagles, with a more distant Montague’s Harrier heading up to the north of the island and Cap De Cavalerria.
